Question: Who was the Greatest emperor in history?
what do you think based on the knowledge not just emotional response.
Cyrus the greatest of the greats or maybe Alexander the Great or Julius Caesar the emperor of glorious Rome. or any other emperor
please don't give me irrelevant and silly answer.
Answer: Easily Hadrian. As someone that is in the Army I appreciate his leadership style. Hadrian was known as the Barracks or Soldier emperor and whatever he asked his legions to do, he did it as well.
I think that although other emperors accomplished more, Hadrian's leadership style was the most admirable.
He marched in full gear with his grunt soldiers and engaged with them in combat. Slept in a barracks with them and ate meals with them.
