Alexander Graham Bell 's Personal Traits

Being a middle child, Alexander Graham Bell was more shy and reserved than his brothers. Alexander Graham Bell often spent long hours reading by himself and exploring the countryside alone. Throughout his life, Alexander Graham Bell was a stubborn and determined man, just like his father, but he was also a man of deep compassion.

Later, Alexader Graham Bell 's friend, Thomas Watson described Alexander Graham Bell as eccentric with the following appearances: "tall, slender, quick-motioned...with a pale face, black side-whiskers and drooping mustache, big nose and high, sloping forehead crowned with bushy black hair."
