Apostle Paul Prison Rome

Apostle Paul Prison Rome

Question: Why does Islam and others reject Jesus as the Son of God?

Peter was crucified, upside-down on an x-shaped cross, in Rome, in fulfillment of Jesus’ prophecy (John 21:18).
King Herod had James beheaded
Matthew suffered martyrdom in Ethiopia, killed by a sword wound. John faced martyrdom when he was boiled in a huge basin of boiling oil during a wave of persecution in Rome. However, he was miraculously delivered from death. John was then sentenced to the mines on the prison island of Patmos.
James, the brother of Jesus (not officially an apostle), the leader of the church in Jerusalem, was thrown over a hundred feet down from the southeast pinnacle of the Temple when he refused to deny his faith in Christ. When they discovered that he survived the fall, his enemies beat James to death with a club.Matthias was stoned and then beheaded. The Apostle Paul was tortured and then beheaded ...Andrew was crucified on an X shaped cross and beaten for 2 days until he died
If it was all just a lie,Why would they cling to such an unprofitable lie?

Answer: Paul, James, Matthew etc. were actually clinging to the truth.

Islam on the other hand (depending on if you are Sunni or Shia.) think the Jesus was born of a virgin and rose to God (the Sunni and Shia disagree on the Crucifixion) but they both miss the fact that Jesus paid for all mans sins and was the son of God and salvation only comes through accepting Jesus as lord.

God Bless

Social justice is an essential part of Catholic teaching. It's part of being a Catholic. So Glenn Beck is, in essence, saying "Leave the Catholic church."
