5th Grade Biography Books

Question: 5th grade teacher looking for suggestions for next years book picks. Any ideas?
I am looking for suggestions for books to read whole class. I used to teach 2nd grade so this is a bit of a change for me. Any genre is helpful (non-fiction, reality, biography, etc.). Thanks for your help!!
Answer: The Chronicles of Narnia series, A Wrinkle in Time, The Phantom Tollbooth (a vast source of vocabulary), Island of the Blue Dolphins, There's a Boy in the Girl's Bathroom, A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Red Badge of Courage, Hatchet...... or anything else by those authors. I liked Louis Sacher and Gary Paulson the best when I was that age.
