Biography Middle School

Question: Where can I find a specific set of middle school children's biographies on famous Americans from the 60s?
My father-in-law remembers a set of biographies from the 60s in his junior high library. There were about 25 books. The biographies included Aaron Burr, Andrew Jackson, Paul Revere, and Daniel Boone. They had brownish-orange covers.
I found my own answer. Childhood of Famous Americans is the name of the series.
Answer: Childhood of Famous Americans is a more modern series of biographies.
Your Father-in-Law is remembering a series by GROSSET and DUNLAP called the Signature Biographies. The same company also had a series of historical fiction where the title usually started "WE WERE THERE...."
In the Signature Biographies the PERSON's SIGNATURE was on the front cover and yes they were a brown-orange color. You can sometimes find them in used bookstores but they are all out of print. Your father-in-law must be close to my age since I also read those books in the 1960's and I've been trying to collect as many as I can for my niece and nephew.
The inside cover of the Signature Biographies also usually pictured 10 major events (with dates) in the life of the individual.
