Tamil Actor Ajith Biography
How often have you found yourself in a situation when you have gone out to watch a performance and found that it is not up to your liking or taste?
There are two ways to pass the time till the show lasts. Either you keep grumbling and cursing the performers and spoil your mood or, try to make the best of what is presented even though it may not be your cup of tea. Here is what you should do to enjoy even a bad performance.
Applaud mediocre performers
Change your perspective during the show. When you do not like the performance of a particular actor, put yourself in his shoes. Would you have acted better had it been your first time as a performer? Would you not have expected some encouragement and appreciation from the audience even though you were aware of your lapses? How would you feel if the audience booed you?
Appreciate the occasional sparks of brilliance
Even a mediocre performer may have some moments of brilliance. Applaud the actor at these moments by clapping loudly. Quite possibly others too will follow suit. Your act would bring some cheer to the performers and pep up the show.
Cheer up the new entrants on the stage
Cheer up and welcome the new entrants on the stage even if they turn out to be boring later on. Your appreciation may encourage the performer to do better. This is your duty as part of the discerning audience.
You must be generous enough to utter ‘Woo! ‘or, “Oh, yeah!’ when the band starts to play new number. If the performance turns out to be really brilliant and deserves a standing ovation, be the first to stand up in your section of the audience.
Join the singer when you are expected to do so
Sometimes the audience is expected to join the singer like singing the chorus of a song or to do ‘The Wave’. Participate enthusiastically at such moments. Be generous in extending genuine appreciation for the performers.

Biography Actors

If you’re interested in starting an acting career, you’ve likely heard that it requires an abundance of hard work and know-how; but what is it, specifically, that you need to know? Industry professionals agree on several essentials for starting an acting career, some of which are listed here:
Learn from others. This is a broad directive that ranges from talking with working actors, to studying their techniques on television and cinema, to visiting their websites and other outlets. As with any profession, those starting an acting career can best learn from those who have done it themselves. Where can you meet working actors? More on that in a moment.
Learn basic business skills. Yes, acting is indeed an art; but it is certainly a science as well, and business skills are an important part of the formula. Starting an acting career requires marketing your craft through a variety of strategic methods; writing a résumé, promotional materials, and website text; and a specific knowledge of how to choose an agent or manager. Finally, there’s auditioning – which, according to many acting professionals, is perhaps the most important business skill of all.
Choose an acting school. Want to meet working actors? The best place is to do so is in an acting class in Los Angeles, home of the television and film entertainment industry. Choosing an acting class that is attended or taught by working actors is key, as you’ll be learning from individuals who are doing what you aim to do as a professional. Often, you can learn by simply observing; however, asking questions regarding their journey can be beneficial as well.
If you’re concerned about being intrusive or taking up too much of an actor’s time, one solution is choosing an acting school that offers sanctioned opportunities to learn from actors. For example: At Stuart Rogers Studios in North Hollywood, acting classes are offered alongside audition classes, interactive workshops, and business skills training. In New York, studios that offer similar opportunities are likely to be available.
Get some experience. Anywhere! Community theatre groups are tried-and-true stomping grounds for aspiring actors; those who aim to work in cinema are known to test the waters as extras and walk-ons. However, even in these initial stages, the guidance of an experienced professional can be positively invaluable. Again, this is where choosing an acting school that offers varied classes and interaction opportunities is an excellent idea.
Yes, there is a lot more to learn; but by following these guidelines, your efforts at starting an acting career can go further, yield more results – even be more enjoyable. And as any professional knows, career enjoyment is a key component of long-term success.
Why we should give a damn about Victor Fleming
Victor Fleming directed two of the greatest films ever, The Wizard of Oz and Gone With the Wind. Yet he has rarely been given credit for their success. As the first critical biography of him is released, Philip French reassesses the legacy of the combative and intruiging director who created film magic with Judy Garland, Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh Seventy years ago, on 15 December 1939, one of …

Tamil Actor Vikram Biography
The film is basically composed of dialogue and the entire thing is shot at a Catholic school. The script was great but the cast members were the cranks that turned this movie into a blockbuster hit. The scene between Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman when she is interrogating him on alleged sexual abuse of an altar boy was absolute perfection. The facial expressions were full of anger, shame, fear and determination and the mood was thick and heavy with emotion. You could swear you were in the same room. I’m thinking that Hoffman just scored his place in my mental list for my favorite top 10 actors.
Philip Seymour Hoffman was born in 1967 in Rochester, NY to his parents Marilyn and Gordon who were divorced when he was nine. One can see where his hard work and desire to succeed came from as his parents maintained well-respected positions. His mother was a civil rights activist as well as a lawyer and a family court judge and his father was a Xerox executive. He is not the only one in his immediate family in the entertainment business. His brother Gordy wrote the script to the movie Love Liza (2002) and Philip played the lead character Wilson Joel.
Philip enjoyed baseball, wrestling and acting while in high school. He took on his first role as Radar O’Reilly in his high school’s stage production of M*A*S*H. He went on to study acting at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1989. Shortly after graduating from NYU, Hoffman entered rehab for substance abuse and eventually made a full recovery. “It was all that [drugs and alcohol]… It was anything I could get my hands on… I liked it all. You get panicked… and I got panicked for my life… I have so much empathy for these young actors that are 19 and all of a sudden they’re beautiful, famous and rich. I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’d be dead”, Hoffman told 60 Minutes.
Hoffman’s film career started off with an explosion as he played a part in four films within the same year, 1993. Scent of a Woman was one of his first films that year and is the one that Hoffman believes was his claim to fame. It wasn’t until Love Liza in 2002 that Hoffman landed a leading role. He went on to another leading role in Owning Mahowny about a bank employee with a gambling addiction. Hoffman continued to have his share of supporting roles in smash hits like Patch Adams, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Mission: Impossible III and more.
The film Capote was released in 2005 and Hoffman finally gained his well-deserved recognition for his astounding acting ability. He was deemed best actor that year by numerous film critic associations and won Best Actor from the following award ceremonies: The Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, Screen Actor’s Guild Awards and BAFTA Awards. Hoffman was on a role and took on the film Charlie Wilson’s War in 2007. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor for this performance though the award went to Javier Bardem that year for No Country for Old Men. Hoffman amazingly did not take home the Oscar for Doubt as it went to Heath Leger’s performance in The Dark Knight. Philip Seymour Hoffman is a very versatile actor who can take on just about any role and turn it into an award winning performance. I’m hoping to see more of his moving performances in the near future.
Here are some of my favortite quotes from Philip Seymour Hoffman:
“The only true currency in this bankrupt world is what you share with someone else when you’re uncool.”
“Actors can’t act alone. The only way to act well is when you know the other actor has your back. And these actors had my back and I hope they know that I had theirs.”
“She brought up four kids alone, and she deserves a congratulations for that. Be proud, Ma, because we’re here tonight and it’s so good.”

Bengali Actor Dev Biography
The Easter bunny brought along CM Ogrey to CipSoft who joined the community management department in April. Mirade and Rejana decided that moderating his very own news discussion thread “Welcome Our New Team Members” might be a good way to get to know the community, and vice versa. A couple of weeks later he already felt prepared to take over bigger tasks. Today, you can get in touch with Ogrey particularly on the discussion board and the event board.
Also in April, we started to experiment with a new form of discussion thread called “developer notes”, or “dev notes” in short. Dev notes are supposed to give you a better insight into things we are currently discussing and working on. Besides, they are a way to give us feedback at an earlier development stage when significant changes can still be made. The first two dev notes dealt with the black skull and Non-PvP zones on PvP worlds. While the black skull was introduced at a later stage, Non-PvP zones were not. In the end, the community’s feedback provided in the corresponding dev note thread and on a subsequent poll made us rethink our concept of that feature and we decided not to continue working on it.
While the dev notes were running, our fansites went through a reevaluation process in order to find out how they had evolved during the last months. Four fansites were finally awarded the newly introduced promoted status. Shortly afterwards, several further sites joined the programme and started out as supported fansites. At this point, our fansite programme gained momentum. Until now, it has run up to 24 participating sites in total which mirrors the amazing commitment and dedication in our community. Thanks a lot to the fansite admins and their helpers for all your efforts!
