Question: Do I have to pay a college's application fee before I am considered?

I applied to a college (Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, MI) a while ago, but they don't have an online payment option, and I haven't been able to find the time to mail them my $30 check for the application fee. Is waiting too long hurting my chances of being accepted? Or does it depend on the college in question?

Answer: If you "can't find the time" to mail in a lousy $30, do you think will they expect you to "find the time" to come to class, or do your homework?

Call the admissions department & ask if your application is still on file. If it is, send in the money.
If it isn't, fill out another app and send the money.

And for God's sake, DON'T tell them that you "couldn't find the time" to send in that check!
