Henry Ford First Engine

Henry Ford First Engine

Question: Not very good with internet yet. How do I ask someone at Henry Ford Museum questions. Have a 47 from WWII yrs.

I have a 47 Ford pickup with a 226 engine (not the more popular 223). Want to know if it is rare at all due to the WWII years. During the airplane production years; was there in intermittant design which went into production for only a short time after automotive production began again? Thanks for your time.

Answer: Another source is Ford Motor Company.com They can link you with archives and you can muddle your way from there. The site is a wealth of information but it is sometimes rather difficult to navigate. If you are new you might enjoy some of the discoveries that you make along the way, I did.
