Answer: No Henry Ford did not invent the first automobile. He did not mass produce the first automobile either. Henry Ford's most important contribution was the first mass produced AFFORDABLE automobile through the use of the assembly line. This is what made the Ford motor company different and well know was the assembly line idea.
