Henry Ford Village Michigan

Question: Things like Greenfield Village & other stuff to do in southern Michigan?
-Must be located in the lower peninsula...preferably southern part of the state.
What are some public beaches to visit?
Are there any cool historical places like the Henry Ford Museum, Greenfield Village, Meadowbrook, Belle Isle, the Ford House in Grosse Pointe? Any big houses to tour?
What are some fun, historically based (if possible) things to do?
Answer: Your best bet is to http://visit www.visitdetroit.com and see what is going on when you will be here.
There will be info there about everythign you are looking for including tours through Indian Village and the Boston Edison area. Also look for info on the underground railroad (continues through Canada), Fort Wayne, Charles H Wright Musuem.
I hope this helps
