Julius Caesar Book Online

Question: Julius Caesar’s The Conquest of Gaul (ca 50 b.c.)?

Greetings. I'm doing some research and am seeking to find an online, downloadable version of Julius Caesar’s The Conquest of Gaul. I've checked the standard sources, but no luck.

Additionally, I am seeking other online versions of different books from the same general time period (Diodorus Siculus’ Histories ca 8 b.c., etc). Anyone know of any resource sites out there?

Many thanks for the assistance!

Answer: Sure, there are many sites that have Julius Cesar's works in translation and the original. A good place to start is Project Gutenberg. Then there is Wikisource which has a good list of available texts. The web site Perseus offers a nice selection of works presented in the original Latin language.

You might also try searching Google's full view book search.

Hope this helped.
