Question: What does this quote mean in "Julius Caesar" (written by Shakespear)?

the quote is : " No statues shall have Saesar's decorations on them ... (a little later, the same speaker, same paragraph) Left unchecked, he'll get above himself. We'll lose our freedom and live in fear. (in scene 1, act 1). This is from the "Shakespeare made easy" series, with Shakespeare's plays written to a modified version in modern english. thanks for the help! I need to know what Flavius' (who is the speaker) opinion on Caesar is when He talks about Caesar this way. thank you.

Answer: Flavius is very much worried that Ceasar's ambitions include becoming Dictator of Rome and thus having sole power over the government. It was a legitimate worry, as Rome had just gotten out from under a dictatorial rule by Cornelius Sulla.
