Apostle Paul Books

Question: Did the Apostle Paul offer sacrifices in the book of Acts or later? I have heard he did, but can’t find it.

If he did, please provide a Scripture reference. Thanks!

Answer: It is not written in the New Testament at all. It is rightfully inferred. How? Jews traditionally under the Law offered sacrifices. Even Jesus did this!!!! He had to keep the law up until his death. Then the New Testament became effective.

Paul said he was a devout Jew (the Book of Acts bears this out) and as such he would have kept the letter of the law which includes sacrifices. AFTER his conversion, there is no reason to assume he continued the tradition of sacrifices.

Apostle Paul Grace

Apostle Paul Grace

Question: Where is the toot notes: Ephesians 1:7-8 Who did the apostle Paul say God made His grace to abound to?

Who were they to whom God made His grace to abound, in all wisdom and prudence?

Answer: In Him –

In Christ, or in union with Christ (see The New Covenant and Oneness with Jesus Christ and Covenant Oneness Notes), we have or more literally “are having” this blessing. It is not merely in a blessing that exist as a future possession (it will be that also as discussed below and see He 9:12-note), but it is ours by virtue of our faith in Christ. The redemption is “in Christ” not only as the source but also as the sphere in which they (and we) live (we have obtained redemption [through the payment to set the captives free] in Him, in Christ, and we now and forever live in the “atmosphere” of the light, truth and power of that same eternal redemption [He 9:12-note]. It’s as if the “redemption” Christ has provided is now the “air” in which we as believers live and breath and have our being, if that helps you understand the picture of “in Him”.)

The Apostle Paul Pictures

The Apostle Paul Pictures

Question: Spiritually speaking, where can I…,?

…, get a picture of The Apostle Paul?

Everytime after I stir cream and sugar into my coffee, I put my spoon upside down on a saucer on my stove. After about 20 cups, I see the image of a man I believe to be The Apostle Paul.

How can I be sure?

How much is it worth?

Please help. I don’t want to wash it, because it might be worth something.
I think it’s him because his head is shaved.
Does The Bible say if Jesus ever shaved His head? Maybe it’s Him instead of Paul.

Answer: Superstition is not supported by true scriptural reasoning..
There is no picture of the Apostle Paul. And if there were, so what?
Christians are supposed to be walking by faith, not by sight. Faith backed up by concrete evidence. Idolatry is a work of the flesh (demonic).

Vail Valley Voices: Obama stoops to conquer

As we begin the second decade of the 21st century, might Uncle Sam perfect what was rejected in the first decade: the art of bowing? Many cultures interpret bowing with showing respect for others rather than a sign of subservience. Last year, critics condemned President Obama for exposing our nation’s soft side by bowing in Saudi Arabia and before Japanese Emperor Akihito. These pundits, who …
