Answer: Boy is Roald Dahl’s autobiography — more of a memoir of his childhood and early adulthood, really. He had an interesting life.

He also wrote a memoir called Going Solo about his years working for Shell Oil in East Africa.

Question: A good, relatively short, biography or autobiography. Not of someone “cliche”?

Can you guys tell me one, or a list of the best autobiographies or biographies that you have read. I rather it not be about anyone cliche or overrated. No maya angelou, no bill clinton, no hitler, no barak obama, etc. you get the point.

Any random NON FICTION is fine, but maybe something that has some psychological depth, but having psychological aspecgts are NOT necessary, but if you think the book you are refering to has some or a substantial amount of psychological conflicts, issues or references, please let me know what book it is.
