Question: a holy christian person who i can write a biography about ?

i have to write a biography about a christian holy person or saint (not Jesus). any ideas also i need a person who has lots of information about there childhood to death or until now , how he/she lived or living , there sets of belief he or she had , important events through out she/he life etc .

Answer: If you are not uncomfortable with the fact that Catholics are Christians, I would suggest Father Damien of Molokai. He was a 19th century missionary to the Hawaiian leper colony on the island of Molokai, where he cared for the lepers until he finally contracted the disease and died from it. His actions were in the best Christian tradition of "doing unto the least of these." He was just canonized recently, and there is a wealth of information on him available on the Net.
