Question: Biography?People?

I was wondering any good people to do for a biography( I don't want people like George Washington or Columbus) ? Someone who's kid of interesting? Maybe an entertainer?

Answer: How about Ibn al-Haytham? He was a medieval Muslim scholar who overcame bouts of mental illness to develop the scientific method two hundred years before the Europeans learned of it—by reading his books. His story is fascinating and inspirational. He is a positive role model, and the background of his life will help you understand a little bit about Muslim history and culture. The only full biography of him is "Ibn al-Haytham: First Scientist" by Bradley Steffens. It was just chosen by California Readers to be part of the 2008 California Collection for students.
