Question: Why am I born in this era?

I can’t believe I’m here, an Engineering student, which is far from my dream to become

Answer: With an engineering degree you could go to work for the defense industry in the US. You could design planes, ships, guns, bombs, and other ways to kill literally hundreds of thousands of people! And the cool thing is you don’t get any blood on you! With a gun or knife or something, you’d have to kill them one at a time, then dispose of bodies and all that, it gets messy. But with the US military you can kill whole cities full of people, mostly innocent women and children and old people, and you can pretend you’re saving the world! Plus you get paid pretty good for it.

Question: Question about Paul’s missionary journeys?

Traditionally, most scholars agree that Paul eventually visited Spain before going back to Jerusalem…..and then onto Rome where he was eventually martryed under Nero.

Romans 15:24 indicates that Paul ‘planned’ to go to Spain…….but doesn’t definately say he was ever there.

My question is:
Do you think the apostle Paul ever made it to Spain on his 4th and final missionary journey?

Answer: You’re correct that Scripture implies Paul *may* have gone to Spain, but it doesn’t conclusively state this. However, there are reliable extra-Biblical writings that seem to support the notion that Paul did evangelize there.

1) As far as I know, the only credible surviving document that specifically states Paul visited Spain is ‘The Muratorian Fragment,’ which is dated to about 170 AD. In part, the Fragment reads: “Moreover, the acts of all the apostles were written in one book. For ‘most excellent Theophilus’ Luke compiled the individual events that took place in his presence — as he plainly shows by omitting the martyrdom of Peter as well as the departure of Paul from the city [of Rome] when he journeyed to Spain.”

2) Clement of Rome (who is mentioned at Philippians 4:3b) studied under the Apostles Peter, Paul and John; in fact, Peter himself appointed Clement Bishop of Rome, leading many Catholics to conclude Clement was intended to be Peter’s successor as “first Pope.”

Very little of Clement’s writings remain. However, among those is an Epistle to the Corinthians that reads, in part, as follows:

” … let us come to those champions who lived very near to our time. Let us set before us the noble examples which belong to our generation. By reason of jealousy and envy the greatest and most righteous pillars of the Church were persecuted, and contended even until death. Let us set before our eyes the good Apostles. … By reason of jealousy and strife Paul by his example pointed out the prize of patient endurance. After that he had been seven times in bonds, had been driven into exile, had been stoned, had preached in the East and in the West, he won the noble renown which was the reward of his faith having taught righteousness unto the whole world and having reached the farthest bounds of the West; and when he had borne his testimony before the rulers, so he departed from the world and went unto the holy place having been found a notable pattern of patient endurance.”

As you can see, Clement doesn’t list the countries Paul visited, but his description supports the Muratorian Fragment’s claim that Paul’s evangelization covered a *much* larger geographical area than is recorded within ‘The Acts of the Apostles.’

3) As far as I know, the only other document mentioning Paul journeying to Spain is the heretical scroll ‘The Acts of Peter.’

When I first started out in network marketing, I was desperate. Sponsoring everyone from lazy friends, to relatives who had no interest in learning how to be successful in this industry.

I was the complete opposite of what Obama is today.

I was not the type of person prospects wanted to work work (prospects actually wouldn’t return my phone calls); I did not speak about my opportunity with passion or conviction, and I built a team of lazy friends and relatives that quit when they didn’t see immediate results.

Life was hard.

But do think Obama ever has to beg people to work with him on his projects? Do you think he ever has to “sell” his opportunity to anyone.

Heck No!

He doesn’t have to.

Instead of working hard on selling his opportunity he has worked hard on developing himself; attracting people to him.

He speaks with so much passion that you don’t even care what he’s talking about; you just listen because you feel you HAVE to.

Even further, he built an amazingly motivated team that the got the word out about his work. And he wouldn’t just work with any lazy old person – he was very picky.

What a winning combination!!!

Network marketers – YOU NEED TO LEARN FROM OBAMA!!!

And if you think you’ll ever be really successful in network marketing any other way – then think again.

Think of all the top recruiters and money earners in your opportunity right now. Go ahead…think of some names. I’ll bet my entire downline that all of them are amazing leaders that have great energy, lots of passion, and highly motivated teams.

Ok…so here’s where I’m going with this.

ANYBODY can build him or herself into a great leader like Barack Obama and all those top people in your opportunity. It’s not hard – you just have to pick up and do it.

It only takes a moment (like RIGHT NOW) to decide that you’re tired of working with lazy friends; and that you want to build yourself into a leader that people WANT to work with. You can change your the future of your business in 30 seconds or less…

There’s lots of great material out there on leadership development in network marketing but here’s the one I recommend above all (and trust me, I’ve read a heck of a lot).
