Question: What do you know about Henry Ford??????????????

Henry Ford sounds really interesting... i did lots of research on him and i need some unusual facts on him or anything really plz help me i want to know more!!! plz plz plz plz plz

Answer: Started what was 1st commercial passenger airline,w/ Ford Tri-Motor airplane

Pioneered use of plastics in cars.
Made an all plastic car,,from vegetable-based plastic,
that ran on vegetable-based ethanol.

Though Ford was a noted racist,he worked with George Washinton Carver on developing vegetable plastics

Ford was awarded Germany's highest honor/medal
given to foreigners--by Adolf Hitler

Ford's principles & reasoning behind the development
of the Model T were inspirational to Hitler who borrowed
Ford's ideals & had Porsche design "The People's Car"
aka Volkswagon

He helped invent Charcoal,,still on the mkt today under Kingsford Brand

When Ford's old buddy Thomas Edison became wheelchair bound,,Ford bought himself a wheelchair to race his friend.

Edison could be considered to have "Discovered" Henry Ford,,giving Ford the initial encouragement to pursue his car inventions.

Ford got involved in a Libel Suit vs Chicago Truibune,,about Ford being so Uneducated,Illiterate,etc.
Attorney questioned Ford to prove his stupidity by asking a bunch of trivial facts ,etc.
Ford finaly got tired of the questioning,,,and told the Judge that he did not have time or interest in filling his head with a bunch of worthless details.
He explained to the Court that he had a Big Desk with electric pushbuttons on it.
Those buttons summoned Experts he employed,,who could give him any answer he needed on any subject.

Ford Won the case,,and the newspaper was fined 6 cents.

He's also creditted with a variety of outstanding quotes.
