/>

Answer: I have read the book myself as a sophomore for an English Honors Class.
1. In the play, Julius Caesar has various problems such as being deaf in the ear and having epileptic seizures. He is a flawed ruler, but yet the people offered him the crown to the Roman Empire three times.
2. A wolf's in sheep's clothing is a common fable, according to the fable, a hungry wolf came upon a sheep's fleece lying on the ground in a field. The wolf realized that if it wore the fleece, it would look like a sheep from a distance. That would enable the wolf to sneak up on a flock of sheep and steal a lamb for its supper, before the shepherd noticed his presence.
The wolf put on the fleece, and went off in search of a flock of sheep. It spied a flock of sheep just as the sun was setting, and approached the flock. Just as it was about to pounce on a lamb, a shepherd came by, looking for a sheep to slaughter for supper. Thinking the disguised wolf was a sheep, the shepherd quickly grabbed and killed the wolf.
An alternative version is, another wolf is sneaking around looking for a sheep for dinner, and pounces on the wolf in sheep's clothing, killing it and eating it for supper instead of a real sheep.
The intended lesson was, "Frauds and liars are always discovered, eventually, and pay for their actions accordingly." The moral is sometimes also told as "The evil doer often comes to harm through his own deceit".

In English, "a wolf in sheep's clothing" has become a common metaphor for any hidden danger, or for any enemy putting on a false display of friendship.

Best of the Beach 2010: Kids

Parents can sit back and relax while AdventurePlex takes care of their child’s birthday party, from sending out invitations to loading the car with gifts to mailing thank you notes — and everything in between. “All you have to do is show up.”

Julius Caesar interview with Nrk!<br

GJC and Pompey didn't get along terribly well; but Crassus kept them together, acting as a buffer and moderator. He helped get Pompey to marry GJC's sister to Pompey.

After GJC turns this into an appointment to the General and an assignment to Gaul- which took a number of years to do, and brought him many loyal veterans and most importantly, lots of booty.

While he was out, Crassus died of natural causes; Pompey, also a General, who had conquered much of Anatolia to crush pirates in the area, divorced GJC's sister; and started a smear campain against his lone rival for Rome.

GJC obviously didn't like that, and took his loyal troops to Rome; crossing the Rubicon- Pompey chose to retreat to his power base- away from Rome.

GJC then was able to smear Pompey, call him a coward; and took off after Pompey.

Their forces clashed, with GJC coming out on top. Pompey continued to Egypt to seek an alliance with Ptolomy XII, the current Pharaoh and ruler of Egypt (who had been supposed to be sharing the throne with his sister, Cleopatra VII). Fearing GJC, Pompey ordered Pompey's execution, to which GJC was not happy and commented how sad it was that such a great man met that end.

GJC then had Ptolomy killed and installed Cleopatra VII on the throne, marrying her to her other brother, Ptolomy XIII.

It was later that she came to Rome, and bore GJC's son Ceasarian (who was later killed by Augustus). the Romans didn't like her, and propaganda built up by the elite, and the Senate killed him.

Ironically, he died at the feet of Pompey. He was killed in the Theater of Pompey, which had his statute of course.

Power And Principles Clash In Ancient Republic

Conspirata is the second novel in author Robert Harris' trilogy about the Roman politician Cicero.
