I have to read this book for school and I've already read half of it. I've always been a good student, but the problem is that I really don't understand what I'm reading. I have to write a 3-5 page paper within the next few weeks and answer a list of really complicated and specific questions. I looked up to see if there was a sparknotes or an online summary/study guide, but I can't find what I'm looking for. The list is so long and confusing that I couldn't even type it out here. Please Help!!!

They said they were going to have an advice section called Dr Philius and I thought that was creative. Also, if you look up some stuff about Julius Caesar there is some really juicy gossip. There's stories about him sleeping with other men, killing people, and a whole lot of other garbage (if you find that appropriate). You could write an opinion section where two Romans debate whether Caesar's death was beneficial or crippling to Rome. Or you could just look through the real newspaper for some ideas. Answer: Julius Caesar is a tragedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written in 1599. It portrays the conspiracy against the Roman dictator of the same name, his assassination and its aftermath. It is one of several Roman plays that he wrote, based on true events from Roman history, which also include Coriolanus and Antony and Cleopatra.

Although the title of the play is Julius Caesar, Caesar is not the main character in its action; he appears in only three scenes, and is killed at the beginning of the third act. The protagonist of the play is Marcus Brutus, and the central psychological drama is his struggle between the conflicting demands of honor, patriotism, and friendship.

The play reflected the general anxiety of England over succession of leadership. At the time of its creation and first performance, Queen Elizabeth, a strong ruler, was elderly and had refused to name a successor, leading to worries that a civil war similar to that of Rome might break out after her death.

Students that cannot reach their teacher can become frustrated if they do not understand a concept or class material. Students may then rationalize their way into cheating, by saying it is not their fault they don't know the material on the test.

Cheating only hurts those that cheat, although it may allow a student to make a good grade, it does not give an honest picture of what they know. Online cheating may increase with the popularity of e-learning and tutoring, these steps can help reduce the amount of cheating in your classroom.

Does anyone have any ideas for an english project? It's Julius Caesar political ads. Brutus vs. Caesar and Caesar vs. Brutus.

Answer: Heroes vs. Villains

Both Cesar and Brutus are perceived to be heroes and villains in Julius Caesar. At the opening of the play, Caesar is hailed for his conquests and is admired for his apparent humility upon refusing the crown. However, once murdered, Caesar is painted (by Brutus et al) as a power hungry leader with the intentions of enslaving all of Rome. Brutus' speech, which follows Caesar's death, successfully manipulates the plebeian perspective. By the end of his speech, the crowd is hailing Brutus for killing Caesar, whom they now perceive as a great villain. But, the crowd is easily swayed once again when Antony speaks. Following Brutus' remarks, Antony gives Caesar's eulogy, manipulating the crowd with stories of Caesar's kindness, and sharing the details of Caesar's will, which leaves money to every Roman. At the end of Antony's speech, the crowd is once again supportive of Caesar, mourns his death, and seeks to kill Brutus, Cassius, and the other murderers. The swaying opinions of the plebeians, and the great differences in opinion that the play presents leave the audience to determine who, if anyone, is the hero, and who, if anyone, is the villain.

I have to make a project on Julius Caesar. I have to select an extract of 20 lines or less from act 3 scene 1 and convert the entire extract into a six page project using modern context and include stuff from the contemporary world like cell phones, ipods, mini skirts etc. Its really difficult to convert 20 lines into a six page project so please give some suggestions. Stage directions can also be given i.e. how the play opens up and how the characters enter. I know the plot and everything so plese do not suggest sites which gives the plot overview. I need modern ideas which are creative and innovative.The English should be of class 10 standard. For making this project a success I seriously need all the help in the world. Answer: Examine the text. Think how these characters would speak to each other in today's language. Use today's slang terms. Think about the original surroundings, and change those locations to modern equivalents. How do you want your characters to communicate with each other? Alter to use modern technology.
Clothing... the characters would no longer be wearing togas, perhaps Business Casual? or business suits? Instead of sending a messenger on foot, they would send a fax or email. Try thinking in terms of that kind of conversion.
